This is the first thing I made on my own knitting machine - a Brother KH270 Bulky Electronic.
I used the yarn I had to buy when I got my first lesson, and another color for the accent. I used one
of the built-in paterns on the machine (I don't remember anymore which one), and turned out this
neat set. The mittens were cut-and-sew, using directions in one of Catherine Cartwright-Jones' books.
I took it to work to show it off and one of the gals liked it so much, she bought it! (A few of the guys
also gave it a good review!)
