BackToBack Knits

This piece is a first draft of a "rock Art" sweater I dreamed up. Each of the designs was adapted from an actual historical rock art design. The design on the back is based on the "Great Gallery" scene in Canyonlands National Park, and the Kokopelli is taken from a piece of pottery. The small border designs were based on designs I have photographed on rock walls. I call this a "draft" because there are things I want to change, like the size of the bear fetish and lizard on the sleeve - they are too big to see the whole picture. And, also, I forgot to do pockets, along with a few other design issues I have changed.
