**Intarsia on the midgauge: The SK160 manual machine's carriage WILL do intarsia. The AG30 (which fits the SK155) will also fit the SK860.
But if a new owner wants to do intarsia AND electronics, the better way to go would be to get the 160 AND the upgradeable carriage (KC860)
***The piece that used to be made so the SR860 (mid guage ribber) would fit the SK160 machine, is no longer made. So, in order to do ribbing with the midguage, you will have to have the electronic carriage.
